The hospital is also working on the improvement of mental health and psychiatric services in Regional Health 1 and 2. It has developed a standardized psychiatric network system by providing an interdisciplinary team for clinical and counseling services as well as a program facilitating visits to patients in their own homes, a service that covers the patients of more than 60 hospitals in the 13 northern provinces. The hospital’s goal is to help patients with mental health and psychiatric problems to be able to continuously access high-quality services.
