Prem International School, situated in Chiang Mai, Thailand, was established in 2001 as part of the Traidhos Three-Generation Community for Learning. Founded by Mom Luang Tridhosyuth Devakul (Mom-Tri) and named after General Prem Tinsulanonda, a respected Thai statesman, the school was created with the vision of delivering high-quality international education in a supportive, environmentally conscious setting. From the outset, Prem has offered the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes—Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP)—and was the first school in Southeast Asia to offer the IB Career-related Programme (CP). Prem also provides an Intensive English Programme (IEP), enabling students to rapidly achieve the fluency needed to enter the IB programmes.
Prem's campus, set in a lush, natural environment, embodies its commitment to sustainability and outdoor education. The school has evolved into a vibrant, multicultural community, attracting students from across the globe. Today, Prem continues to uphold its mission of nurturing thoughtful, globally-minded individuals who are well-prepared for the challenges of the future.
