SuanSanook Co-Playing and Learning Space – Story & Craft Time with Emma

This Saturday, January 25th, join Sister Emma and kids aged 2-7 years old as we dive into the world of cats through fun storytelling and cute craft activities!
We will explore stories from the book series “The Mischievous Cat Gang” by Noriko Kudoh, with the tales “The Mischievous Cat Gang and the Bakery” and “The Mischievous Cat Gang and the Curry Rice.”
These adorable stories, driven by the curiosity, mischief, and intelligence of the 8 mischievous cats, offer valuable lessons for both readers and children. The kids will also practice listening, speaking, and comprehension skills through the stories.

Afterwards, we’ll move on to a fun craft activity where the kids will create their very own cardboard cats, letting their imaginations run wild! The kids will exercise their fine motor skills and creativity by crafting and dressing up their cats with colorful yarn. Now, I bet you’re wondering what each child’s cat will look like, right?

Schedule (subject to change based on suitability):

• 1:00 PM: Open the house at SuanSanook Co-Playing and Learning Space
• 1:30 PM: Introduction and fun with storytelling by Sister Emma
• 2:00 PM: Craft Activity: “Colorful Cats”
• 2:45 PM: End of activities. Kids can rest, play freely, or read books in the library at SuanSanook. Parents can relax and chat about child-rearing or homeschooling.
