it’s time for our first official non-camping event! A day where kids and parents come together to mingle, laugh, and prove that grown-ups can socialize without embarrassing themselves too much (hopefully)
The theme of our event is homeschooling. Since we’ve chosen this path for our own family, we want to create a space to exchange ideas, share experiences, and build a supportive community.
This is also a wonderful opportunity for the kids to make new friends—or, at the very least, find someone who’ll willingly share their snacks. If you and your children leave with new connections, a bit of useful information, and a smile on your face, we’ll call it a roaring success!
And don’t worry if you’re not homeschooling—this isn’t some secret club. You’re more than welcome to join us. Just bring your curiosity and your best barbecue appetite.Here’s what you can expect from us:
• Delicious food (yes, BBQ!)
• Live music (maybe even a DJ!)
• Fun activities for all ages
• An evening movie to wrap up the day
Now, here’s the deal: this is our first ride, so cut us a little slack if things aren’t Pinterest-perfect. We promise the food will be hot, the music will be good, and the vibe will be chill.
The event starts at 12:00 PM on Saturday and is supposed to wrap up by 8:00 PM, but hey, who knows? We’re leaving the end time flexible because, well, life happens.
