Lanna International School was established in 1993, and is considered the premier British international school in Chiang Mai, cultivating excellence from early childhood through Year 13. We follow a rigorous Cambridge curriculum, preparing students for success at top universities worldwide. At LANNA, our curriculum, environment and individualised approach ensure that students are equipped with the critical skills needed for the future.
The LANNA Early Years programme (ages 2 – 4) sets the foundation for a lifetime of learning. By using the International Early Years Curriculum with the Reggio Emilia philosophy, LANNA creates an intentional environment where curiosity is encouraged, creativity flourishes, and independence is fostered.
In Primary (ages 5-11), the curriculum continues to emphasize the development of the whole child by focusing on critical thinking skills through the lens of the Cambridge Primary Curriculum and the theme-based, cross-curricular International Primary Curriculum.
During Secondary years (ages 12 – 18), students are exposed to the widest range of IGCSE’s and A Levels in Northern Thailand. We provide character building through service and leadership, and, year after year, LANNA graduates gain admission to the world’s top universities.
